Assembly

OK, so the box that the BS12 Pro chair came in was very heavy, just like the Flexispot standing desk. Depending on your physical condition, you might need a second person to help you lift it up the stairs ( which was in my case, as I have the office upstairs).

Once I open the box, you will have a manual with clear instructions to assemble the chair, along with small parts and a tiny tool key that you will need to squeeze a few bolts underneath the chair seat and the behind-the-head support.

I was lucky to have my partner around to help me assemble the chair, and together, we did it in under 20 minutes otherwise, it would have taken me a bit longer if I had to set it myself. If you want to see this chair in motion, check this YouTube short video that I just uploaded.

Flexispot bS12 Pro Design and Build Quality

Once we completed the assembling, we were a bit nervous about testing it, but that’s because my partner weighed around 100 kg :)). A pretty heavy guy for testing such an expensive chair. I’m saying that because the chair is designed with a thin layer of fabric that is stretching and allows breathing if sweating. Besides, the material feels strong enough to sustain such a heavy weight.

When seated, there is no cushion on the seat; hence, the stretching of the fabric makes it feel comfortable enough, just like you would sit on a fluffy cushioned chair. Let’s say it is the same feeling as sitting in a hammock.

Another thing that made me a bit nervous when my partner tested the chair was the depth of the back seat. Surprisingly, the chair back adjustment allows it to go very low, and because the middle part that holds the back and seat together seems a bit slim, it easily holds 100kg. So no frills on that part. Ergonomics

I’ve wanted to buy an ergonomic chair for a long time because I knew the benefits it provides. This chair is not ideal only for those people who have lumbar problems but also for when sitting for long hours. The arm and headrest are my favorite features, along with the cushioned seat.

I’m going to brag too much about the comfort of this amazing chair. All I can say is that it feels so comfortable that you can even sleep on it. Similar to those chairs at the beauty salons when they do brow tinting or facials. Or even better, feels like those comfy dentist chairs, except that no one is going to drill your teeth :)))

Aesthetics

Overall the chair looks very nice in my home office. Although I added the sheepskin on the chair, it was mainly for aesthetic purposes and for enhancing the appeal of the pictures. I don’t actually keep the sheepskin on the chair while sitting at the desk. Nevertheless, that could be an option if you work in a cold environment, but in a normal environment, you will get very warm.

Despite its professional-looking design and color, I would have loved it if Flexispot had various colors for this chair. Perhaps white or brown could be some options in the future, but even black looks very cool. You know me, I’m all into DIY, and I might paint the plastic support of this chair white in the future. I think it will look more appealing in black and white. However, that’s just my option.
